The Grow Room – Chatting with Allie Brudner Brumel of The Breasties
Our brand new episode of The Grow Room features Allie Brudner Brumel cofounder of The Breasties. This organization empowers women affected by breast and reproductive cancers by igniting strength and positivity through connection, free retreats, wellness activities, events, and an all-inclusive resourceful online community.
The Power of Community
According to the World Cancer Research Fund, breast cancer was the most common cancer in women worldwide. This contributes to 25.4% of the total number of new cases diagnosed in 2018. The top three – breast, colorectal, and lung cancers – contributed 43.9% of all cancers (excluding non-melanoma skin cancer). At TONIC we’ve proudly participated and supported The Breasties crew at their galas and events. We are very grateful for their active platform and community health activities. Having a safe place to share these stories can strengthen others.
